Under $10000 more than $1
;)
For what they will be ...or the game plan is for them to be...they will be compatible prices on the market.

im trying my luck but he might also need a 370z to test with the HR swapped heads ?

the big cams/piston setup that I wanted is ready, so in a couple months this should be a reality !

I'm only a couple of hours from him. :D So if he needs a car, I'm ready. LOL

Just picked up the test mule today and drove her home. 2009 Nismo #117 begins a new life ;)

All is good.

Any updates?

Dwnshift 07-10-2013 07:49 PM

Car goes on the dyno Friday at 10am to be baselined. (Completley stock 2009 Nismo)
It then goes under the welder Friday evening.
Not sure how long the first set and tooling will take...expecting at least a week.
It then goes back on the dyno and results posted.

Looking forward to see what you guys come up with.

Can't wait to see how these turn out! I've been lurking for a while now and I must say, it feels like quite a privilege to have a top notch race team produce such quality parts for our cars (well in my case a 07 350z HR).

I just had a few questions if you don't mind answering, dwnshift. Mainly I ask these questions so I can optimize the rest of my exhaust system if do happen to buy these. The only real deterrent for me being the visual portion for smog here in California blah....shorty type headers are a bit easier to sneak by with due to the factory catalytic converter placement.

1. What will the collector diameter be? 2.25" or 2.5" & any reducer after the collector?
2. How many steps on the primaries tubes and what are their range of diameters?
3. Just to clarify - When you referred to these as being "lorties", I assume this means that they will be mid-length headers so to speak. A few inches longer than the factory headers?
4. Finally, any idea how these might work/fit on a VQ35HR, specifically in a 350z? I'd imagine you can't comment on this much as of yet though ;)

Anyway, thanks so much for your time and I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread.

Let us get them built and tested... Then we can discuss
:)

Baseline pulls 2009 Nismo stock
(it does have 325 rear tires on it though)
