" Nissan 370Z NISMO 09-12 Stock Upgrade Axleback Exhaust With Bevel Edge Tips"

I want to replace the stock muffler on my wife's new 370, oem set up is a little weak and quiet for such a nice sports car,,,,
Would like to get an Nismo oem exhaust system or a different muffler to give it a lilttle more sound,but i dont want to go crazy on the budget....which is around $400-500, Im in New Mexico if someone is selling one that might work for the Z Let me know...
Dont want to pull trigger on Ebay muffler if its quality sucks...Thanks in advance for any input or help regarding this post....have a great day...

I would stay away from eBay junk!
And now that that's out of the way, I would save up a little more and get an actual exhaust I have the Fast Intentions CBE and I love it

Or if you are wanting to go really cheap... Just do the washer mod. That's what I did until I had the cash for the exhaust.

AAM short tails? Sound amazing and only cost $300-400.

Actually I think Randy "370ZRR" (370Z designer) got that axel-back exhaust on his car. He did it cuz it is a corporate Nissan car and he didn't want the hassle of switching a CBE back to stock. I've heard and seen it and it's not bad. The tips do stick out a bit tho.

Quality is meh. Sometimes you get lucky. others don't. Fitment is decent and sound is good. Metal seems a little thin so a couples years down the road could be having issues with it. Plenty of guys runnj g the Top Speed exhaust though. Many are happy with it but build quality just needs to take a couple steps up.

I can actually say that I have heard the top speed axleback on a g37.

It sounds alright...Much better then stock exhaust with nice looking cans. However quality I cannot attest for.

The better option is aam short tails. Quality muffler deletes, with beautiful tips. Great sound.

AAM short tails are overpriced IMO, a muffler shop would make the same for $100

Washer mod is 90% as effective, OP, do that until you can afford a quality CBE

It'd be $100 in materials alone+ gas for the welder+ an hourly rate for the fabricator making it+ some markup to make it worth it to the shop. I have to disagree sorry.

Only know because I made my own.

You got ripped off, lol, sorry

It's $5-10 pipe, $20 flanges (or just cut them off the muffler), time to weld/bend $70~.

I only know because I did this for a different car. Full straight pipes for my car was quoted at $200-300 for the 370

Lol I guess I ripped myself off then. And im defending vendor prices not talking about what I paid.lol You forgot to add tips which if I recall AAM use's TI which is a little pricey. Some shops just know what their time and effort is worth, some don't. Simple as that.

304SS=$30
Tips=$100-$150
Time=$40/hr x 2 hours
Gas=$20?hard to price but a tank here is about $100 but youre only using a small portion of that.
Total:$240

That's before profit margins so really $3-400 isn't that bad.
