Parttssssss
Hey everyone! So I have the motordyne m370 intake manifold, stillen g3 intake, and art pipes on the way they will be here Monday!! super excited about that. I had planned on going with the Fast Intentions exhaust but I don't think I can wait 4 months for that. I recently found the AAM s line mid pipe with the aam short tails. Ive done some research and found a video with the short tails, mid pipe, and stillen intake. Also found a video with the aem intake, art pipes, and short tails, but nothing with everything that I will have. Any opinions on the setup?? I haven't ordered the AAM yet but so far from what Ive seen on dyno sheets and heard on the sounds I am pretty dang impressed. Thanks for any input!

The CAI difference won't change sound at all so the sound clip will be how your car with sound. IN THEORY, your should make more power as the stillen Gen 3's make more power then AEM. Not sure how the aam compares to the F.I. exhaust but the F.I. exhaust has been proven time and time again. AAM is fairly new but numbers look promising.

yea as far as the intake difference in the video I wasn't too concerned with that, haha. but yes the numbers do look promising and that's what got me excited at first. after that I was thinking please don't sound terrible, haha. I think I might go ahead and after everything comes in Monday pull the trigger on the aam setup. I know soon after that I planned on going to Z1 and getting it tuned, so I guess I will be able to see how everything does. I plan on posting the dyno sheet and numbers after I get it done.

The video of the 2010 Nismo is mine. I love that setup, but it was a little to loud for me LOL...I purchased their 2.5" dual exhaust right before the s line came out. I couldn't wait either. You can see in my signature line what I am getting out of my current set up without a CAI AAM dual exhuast. You should be able to get anywhere from five to ten more whp with a CAI. I would go ahead and get the exhaust it will sound awesome and with all the other bolt ons you will get numbers equivalent to the same setup with a F.I exhuast. Call or PM Khoi...he is excellent to work with and provides great customer service.
Also, you should get a tune once you get your parts installed to get the best result. Good luck!

I have the short tails without midpipe. I love the sound and have had my eyes on the midpipe for quite some time now..
I also like AAMs HFC's. But I saw you got the ART pipes! SEXY. Anyways, the short tails dont give you any gains, but the midpipe put down +19whp and not sure of the tq but it was close to the same as hp. They also have a true dual exhaust thats a little bit more expensive

I'm so excited about this setup!! After hearing about the long wait for the fast intentions I got dissapointed haha. But about a week after I install everything I'm going to Z1 to get it tuned. I'm hoping for around 330whp at least! But well see glad to hear all the positive reviews about the parts I ordered. I did a lot of research before buying

Drone is a little bit of an issue. Keep that in mind. The true dual is quieter compared to the short tails and midpipe.

Oh I know its going to be hard for sure but hopefully with the mods and tune I can get close to it. I just am ready for it all to be here so I can put it on and make a road trip for my tune. Lol. And I guess khoi is through aam or a vendor??

Khoi works for AAM, sells parts to forum members, and helps others on here stick to proper information and statistics that are tossed around about AAM on here.
khoih@aamcompetition.com -shoot him an email with what you are looking to do!
