motordyne CBE vs F.I 12" CBE
I just got a stillen G3 intake yesterday,
now im looking for exhaust. Which one is better hp gain? |
Fastintentions ... I had Motordyne and though it sounds great it has fitment issues and hangs low .. FI fits like OEM and sounds awesome ..

Motordyne CBE = ???
Fast Intentions TDX (not to include custom or TT-TDX) = 500+ There are reviews all over this board as well as others. How did you miss them dude? |
Weight: Fast Intentions is 5-10 lbs lighter
Power: They make around the same. Motordyne's has the option to expand to full 3" later for TT kits. I believe F.I. has a 3" version too. Price: Fast Intentions is cheaper, but it has a longer wait. Sound: Motordyne's helmholtz resonators reduce drone by a lot. F.I. has the hiss on deceleration. F.I. has more options though: CF mufflers, unresonated, 12" and 18" resonators. Motordyne has the options with the XYZ pipe of HFC, resonated, or unresonated. For tone, you should just look at Youtube vids to see which you prefer. |

Sound wise, it's subjective. MD sounds amazing at WOT. FI sounds deeper but has drone. I like MD sounds better. It screams.:yum: Look wise, it's subjective too. I like how FI hanging low on the z. But MD has the options on burnt tips(rolled/unrolled) and stainless tips. Both are awesome exhaust systems. But I personally would go with MD. Just can't resist the beautiful sound. |
Also , FI customer service can not be beat ..

I have had experience with both and FI hands down ..

Personally I too am going to go with the fast intentions. The non resonated sounds amazing and Im sure will sound even more amazing with ART pipes!!
|
Fast Intentions sold more units than the others combined. Not that it should be a reason to purchase, but it does show that people like the product and/or the customer service. Personally, I feel that it is the best out therr, but you don't have to take my word for it.
