I'm glad to hear that...Aaron seems to be nothing but helpful and strait forward so far...glad to hear you're happy with it now(-cross member) I still can't believe the quality and sound for this exhaust for as cheap as it was. I'll take that extra 1000 bucks and spend some other way on my Z!!!

PS. Be careful with that Micro fiber towel between the cross member and exhaust as the stainless steel gets pretty hot....Don't want a microfiber towel catching fire.....

Yeah my commute is so short the exhaust barely had time to warm up. I'll work on it Friday.

I already did my first full under car cleaning......I took cleaner to the whole exhaust as it was pretty dirty from the last (late spring snow we had here in Denver). I'm still amazed at the quality and sound from this entry level exhaust!!!

DZEL? What did you end up doing with the exhaust hitting your cross member? Lets hope that micro cloth isn't still under there!! LOL

No I added washers to the cross member it took like 20 minutes total. I can't wait till I get the turbos in. I recently took the wife shopping 2 hours away from home and decided to take the Z. She loves the sound. I even had sometime to get on it a couple of times. I gave her a good bath (the Z lol) after the trip and polished up the exhaust as well.

So I watched your video and loved the sound. Wanted to ask a few questions.
1) Do you have to buy the Y pipe with this setup for the Beluga CBE?
2) If you don't go with the Y pipe will it change the tone or is the Y pipe more for HP gains?
3) Do you have any fitment issues. I'm about to pull the trigger on this...

Answer:

1. No you do not, but for the sound I would and extra HP!!! (only 155.00)
2. Yes the sound will be a bit more quite I assume. Yes HP gains!!
3. I did not, but Dzel had to put spacers on his cross member. Easy fix.

4. I cant say more how happy I am to have a great sounding exhaust for under 500 bucks...stainless steel and tig welds at that. I would pull the trigger again anytime and would tell everyone else the same!!!

I paid the TT kit in full yesterday should be here in about a month. Still deciding if I'm going to install it myself or not.

I got used to the hiss. Hated it at first but now I can accept it. There are more good sounds than bad sounds.

IF you never attempted the install of turbos....then pay to get installed right the first time.

Exactly I was realy worried at first that I had an exhaust leak. I was SOOOOOO relieved when I did my research and its a common thing with after market CBE especially with TP's or HFC.

Shadezz that's what I'm leaning towards. I have a few friends that are pro mechanics and if we can all get together and have all the proper tools to pull it off succesfully without a doubt then I'll give the green light. If not I will have to wait till early next year and send it to Precision R in San Antonio for install and tune. I'm also thinking of selling my wheels and tires for a light weight wheel and street slick tires now.
