Nismo R-tune and Stillen front fascia

Hey everyone. I just received my Stillen front fascia today and have an R-tune intake on order. The intake filters will reside directly behind the two side cowls. Being that this is a DD, I imagine a half-cylindrical shield to place directly in front of them is probably a good idea to keep direct rain water from entering the filter.

That said, does anyone know someone that can fabricate such a thing or does anyone have another idea as how to keep the filters from rain water contact? Or should I completely block off the cowls? Doesn't seem like a good idea given the design and I'd rather not create unnecessary drag. Any suggestions or ideas or even a machinist/sheet metal guy that is willing to help would be much appreciated.

Nevermind. Always find the answer I'm looking for after I post a question. Mods can delete this thread if so inclined. Thanks.

Going to flower pot it?

If that's to "tacky" for you another option is buying a complete commercial setup and modding it to fit your high flow filters.
