It is not the sway bar but the V-shaped cross member bars.

[QUOTE=JvKintheUSA;

Too bad that when you spent $2,000 on an HFC, exhaust and installation, you have to resort to $1 hose clamps to get it installed properly. Followed all directions and had room to spare after install. Oh well, I'm happy now.[/QUOTE]

Find this thread interesting as Josh at Stillen assured everyone there were no more fit issues. When I installed mine (after the assurance statement) basically had the same issues as everyone. He wanted me to take pictures and send them to him. (like they don't monitor this list?) Also said someone would call. (No one did) My solution was to add washers to the brace for additional clearance.

Haven't done it yet, but my intentions are to take it to a good muffler shop and let them give it a shot and also install the JIC Y-pipe which has the flex couplings. The factory would not spend the additional money if they didn't feel they were necessary plus they are too nice of cars to do ghetto fixes.

Guess the bottom line is: "you have to do what you have to do." Think it's called "Racers Net" in the hot rodding circles.
