Straight pipes to stock muffler?

Hi everyone. I've been scratching my head on this for awhile and would definitely appreciate some input (sorry if this topic is elsewhere but I couldn't find anything similar when I checked)....

Anyway, I currently have stock cats, GT Haus' resonator-free y and mid pipe, and AAM short tail axle-back. The car is a little too loud for daily use with the short tails, so I put on the stock muffler again and it actually sounds pretty nice, although quiet. So I'm wondering how the car would sound if I left the muffler on and invested in some high flow cats or resonated test pipes. Thoughts?

PS: I've thought about a full aftermarket cat-back with test pipes and even adding GT Haus' muffler section already. Problem is I love GT Haus' midpipe but their muffler section doesn't seem to do a damn thing at muffling sound.

Thanks!

The issue with pick and mix is that it's hard to have choices.

The stock muffler probably saps a half decent amount of HP too.
If a full CBE is out of the question either go HFCs, or custom make your muffler!

Yeah a custom muffler isn't looking so bad at this point, thanks
