If you leave stock cats on it will kill your power.

Yeah with TP's you'll pick up at least 10.

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 10:55 AM

I fully intend putting th TP's on asap. Tonight probably. Im picking up the car after work today

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 10:59 AM

So if everything is correct, and the mustang dyno was configured right. What does 322 equate to on a standard dyno like dynojet? Just currious

Sounds like you could have saved money by just not having them mess with the cats?

If they won't let you "leave" without the cats on the car, you could trailer it home. If the car doesn't get driven out of their shop, they aren't liable and shouldn't care.

Uhaul rental is likely cheaper than the labor they put into fabricating those cats just so you could get home.

Thats what I should have done

That sounds right. I have the same type of mods and made 324whp.. And that was with an exhaust leak that I had to fix afterward.

Good numbers.

correct me if I am wrong, that may break 350 on a dyno jet! HOLY SHINIKIES! I have been monitoring my old forum but have yet to find a set, waiting for Z1's unless I find some.

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 11:49 AM

Thats what i was thinking. Im going to also grab a few of their other sheets of stock cars they have dyno'd to get a baseline. Hopefully they have dyno'd another 370z. And the 1/4 mile track is right down the road. Going to see if i can get a few runs in and see what my trap speed is

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 11:52 AM

Looks like if my car weighs 3500lbs (which it should be lighter right?) I would need to pull down a 1/4 speed of 107 to be in the 350 whp range

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 11:54 AM

ahh i guess the light the car, the faster you have to go to get the higher hp number

Until you put it on a dynojet, it's a mystery...

Lol, sorry bro, but you aren't at 350whp... like I said, 322 sounds about right... in fact sounds a little high for a Mustang Dyno. I bet if you put it on a Dyno Jet you'll make around the same plus or minus a few hp.
