well in the spirit of pure speculation on the headers in this thread, lets do a hypothetical... If rt average tune on a bolt on car with no m370 and no headers is lets say 318(just averaging what they posted on their dyno vids) and I add 10 hp to mine, I would have been at lets say 332, so the headers would have gained on average 14 hp....I would say that is a safe estimate....and my gains after the dip on my graph are quite good IMO.

Your mods r the same as mine basically. I think just different vendors. Im hoping switching the hfc for test pipes then adding the headers will be a significant difference in the butt dyno and maybe a tenth or two in the quarter would be dreamy (yeah I said dreamy). Extra torque for the track days. I get that I dont care what the dyno reads but 330+ would be awesome.

Got the Stillen CAI, Z1 headers, Z1 test pipes, Litespeed exhaust and uprev & tune from CIN Motorsports. Pushed 318 on a hot 90° plus day - mustang dyno. This set up though sounds almost like a exotic street car instead of a Z. CIN did a great job on the car. Getting 4.08 rear installed soon. Bring down that 0-60.

IIRC, Mike does not run the M370, and achieved 342, albeit on a different dyno.
I did briefly run the M370 before the headers, but before and after dyno tests showed it did absolutely nothing on my car, so I sold it.

Dropping car off tommorow morning at AAM for the header, test pipe install followed by the retune. Only 1 confirmed dyno result so far. I think I get it back wednesday so some more results at that point.

I just finish putting everything in! It sounds amazing. Not too loud for me. Drones a little going up the hill. My current setup is actually quieter than my previous set up.

Previous set up is Tanabe y pipe and exhaust and berk hfc

Set up now is Tanabe exhaust with motordyne resonated test pipe option y pipe and fast intention resonated test pipe and of course z1 header.

The car will be tuned this coming saturaday. I will report back after the tune!

Curious, what did you have to give for the install?

You can PM if you'd like, just trying to get a handle on what shops are charging for headers. ty!

6 hours labor for the header install, which seems reasonable. Actually under what I was expecting. I was expecting 8 hour labor so iwas pretty happy.

Couple problems so far all o2 sensor related. I had bottomed it out a couple times in houston and basically beat up one of the secondary o2 sensors so that had to be replaced. Threads on one of the primary o2 sensors so bad needed to replace that one also. These things I hope r awesome because my price just 2ent up a bit in order to replace those o2 sensors.

Good news is it should be on the dyno in the AM and hopefully ready for me to take home sometime around lunchtime tommorow.

Ugh, good thing I've gotten a new job already...

Nice! Can't wait to see results. I'm really hoping the HR flanges come out sooner than later.

Looks like I should grab some sensors from eBay for backup.
