I made 324whp with these headers and TPs, with an exhaust leak that I found after I got the car back from the shop. I'm assuming I probably would have made around 330ish if the initial install wouldn't have been screwed up.

I agree with Spohn... What's the point of installing headers with HFCs? Nice free flowing headers only to be choked up at the cat... Don't even mess with aftermarket headers if you go that route. And for the people that are confused, you don't have to run just Z1 brand TPs or HFCs to mate up with these headers... They can be any brand as long as they are for the 350z DE!

that was a quick 5 weeks! I can install myself, so with a tune it will be decent, of I get 20 whp from the headers and tune I say it was worth it!

The sound is perfect. Apt of that again depends on your exhaust. But ultimately it's up to you.
The only thing I'm worried about is noise. I'm running the HKS hi power which I would say is pretty free flowing already together with Berks HFC. I'm hoping to gain a little more noise at lower rpms compared to now and more power of course. Deciding between either F.I long tubes or these Z1 headers with test pipes. Just worried that the test pipes would be too loud cause people are saying they're a LOT louder.

if you go LTH, your screwed either way with noise. Shorty with test pipes = a 2 piece LTH. Both will scream and both will be loud. At least with Z1, you can get resonated TP's to bring the noise and rasp down ever so slightly.

The biggest thing holding me back (other than being short on money until the end of summer), is the volume. I have the Litespeed exhaust, which is already pretty loud. I'm afraid that my whole neighborhood and everyone in my parking garage will want to kill me if I pair that up with these.
Chrischhorn, do people like your setup? Is there a lot of rasp?

Rasp is actually fairly minimal but you are right. This bad boy screams at WOT. Cold start idle is pretty loud too but calms down after warmed up. I park in a parking garage and k would probably be safe to assume my neighbors hate me but I also leave every morning at 6 a.m. lol. I'll get you some sound clips tonight or tomorrow morning. Btw, drone is probably medium but bareable. the Resonators on the lite speed exhaust definitely do their job for rasp and most of their drone but its a muffler delete so you can't expect all drone to be gone. I love how the system sounds and I get compliments all the time. Also told surprisingly its not as loud as they expected driving regularly.

Hey Chris. Is this mod worth it? Is the power bump noticeable? do you know how much power you gained with the TP and headers?

Looking forward to the clips!

So I have these Z1 headers together with ART pipes (which should reduce the drone and rasp) coming and should be installed by next Friday. Currently I'm running stock headers with berks HFC and HKS hi power catback. I'll let u guys know how it sounds and if I feel a power diff when everything is said and done

Whats going to be interesting is the setup of ART pipes with HKS hi power as that will give FOUR helmholts resonators. Two at the the test pipes, two at the axle which is actually the same as running a full motordyne exhaust.

Sound clips would be amazing!

Starting up in the garage must sound pretty beastly then! They're multilevel tunnels essentially.
Sounds like you haven't gotten any formal complaints yet, so that's always a plus
I'll be getting ART pipes, and from your descriptions the headers+test pipes+Litespeed combo sounds great.

Chris, how did you get the tips to extend so far out? Mine sit tucked under the diffuser even after maxing it out on adjustment..

Hmm really? This is the driver side that lined up pretty well. Didn't have to adjust much to make it fit the way it is now. My passenger side NOW matches perfectly after getting rewelded to match the heights but it sits identical to driver side now.
