LOOKS NICE.
Curious how these will sound (volume, hissing etc.)

SoCalBoy 01-29-2013 09:26 PM

Check out my review: http://www.the370z.com/nismo-370z/63...st-review.html

Wonder how it will sound with HKS hi Power Exhaust???

TeamARK 01-30-2013 11:07 AM

The hissing is kept to a minimum so you can barely hear it but this HFC is definitely more refined and will pair up fairly well with our exhaust. As for other exhaust its hard to say but should be pretty good, maybe you can try it out? =]

very tempting....not far from me either so would save money on shipping

TeamARK 01-30-2013 01:02 PM

yeah its not too far, if you're interested just give us a call and ask for Lerry, we can do the installation for you as well, that way those with HKS exhausts can hear what it sounds like to pair it up with an ARK HFC

SoCalBoy 01-30-2013 01:47 PM

will do once I get my Z back

UNKNOWN_370 01-30-2013 03:41 PM

Video makes me ehhhhh skeptical. Volume was kinda weak.

DEpointfive0 01-30-2013 03:50 PM

Do you need an Auto car to test on?!?!?! Hit me up!

Infiniti FX35 RWD (S51) | ARK GRiP Exhaust System - YouTube

This is a very similar set up, only thing is that it is a VQ35HR instead of VQ37VHR

TeamARK 01-30-2013 06:43 PM

let me know! just look for Lerry, thats my FX.

@DEpointfiveo: I will definitely keep you on tab when we do test on automatics!

I have these on my 2010 manual z. Along with the Ark Grip True Dual exhaust, Stillen headers, and Stillen G3 intake. I LOVE the sound. But since i put the Ark R Spec test pipes and exhaust on, i threw a service engine code. It was expected though. Now just for a tune. But this is a great product imo!

TeamARK 01-31-2013 11:35 AM

A tune or a Cel fix would resolve that.

its becasue the dont incorporate a u bend or 90 bend on the 02 sensor bung. for $860 i figured they would have one.....

TeamARK 01-31-2013 03:46 PM

we're definitely working on improvements down the line, an O2 bung extender as of right now has been working for a lot of people right now

Fearless_Z 01-31-2013 06:39 PM

Well the only complaint i had was with the true dual exhaust. It sat on the brace underneath my car but i put some washers to give it some room between the two and its been fine since then!

you need to loosen the bolts on the y-pipe use your floor jack and put some serious pressure on the y to clear from the brace. I did the same thing the 1st time I installed and test drove. Next day i jacked the car up and took the advice from other members...I pushed it so that it touched the top of the car with the jack...when released it sat perfectly in the middle.

UpRev tune.

roy'sz 02-03-2013 12:45 PM

problem is in cali if i block off the 02 sensors in uprev, the smog check will see that. Thats why I was hoping that the bung extensions would fix it. I plan on getting uprev after I get the motordyne intake

TeamARK 02-04-2013 11:54 AM

The bung extensions usually fix issues but if it doesnt you can try a L-bung but those usually don't clear our resonator. An UpRev tune would definitely "fix" the problem...
