Thanks for bringing my mood down , smh just threw 140 in the trash, and if the leak is from the gasket is there anyway that while I drive right now that anything can get sucked back into the engine and mess it up?

It's THEORETICALLY possible, but not likely, like not at all, I have put 8k+ miles with a blown gasket

i just installed Berk Test Pipes, and my SES light went on. I'm going to install the O2 sensor extenders in the morning and reset the SES. That should clear everything up. Maybe that's whats going on with yours too.

the whole thing thats bugging me tho is that my cel light isnt just on its blinking, i had the computer reset today at the dealership before i left and 20 miles later the light blinks like 3 or 4 times and now its just steadily on, then like 2 miles later it blinks again a couple of times, so what do you guys think is causing it? could it be because of the blown gasket or because of the 10 degree weather thats throwing off the a/f ratio?

If there's a leak near the Primary O2 (before or after), it will read lean, intermittently add or pull fuel (high trims) attempting to maintain stoich, and possibly cause lean misfires.

Not to go off subject, I just bought my reader for 35 from amazon. It reads from the torque app off of android market. I ordered my O2 extension bungs from z1 and have reset my SES light a few times via the app. Gives some good info just a fyi.

Why don't you listen to this guy!?

You keep guessing what is wrong you are gonna spend lots of money "thinking" it may be this, it may be that... Etc etc..

Go get it read and start from there ...

Google helps... I'm having the same issues and I narrowed it down.

There are lots of codes it "could" be throwing.

Either P0300 random misfire, P0133/P0153 slow sensor response.

Until you know exactly what is the code how can you trouble shoot properly. People here have wealths of experience but to properly diagnose your problem. You have to know the code and work through the process of elimination for the causes.

Get smart on your car, use the Internet, your smart phone and your "free" resources before spending money on things that don't need to be fixed.

Good luck.

i already did 2 days ago, they said it was from the test pipe gasket leak(exhaust manifold leak) and i got that fixed today but when i was driving back from the shop the light was still on and blinked when i was going around 30, but the car seemed to run exactly the same as when the light wasnt on, no limp mode or any weird noises coming from the engine while its happening!
