Default Can you remove studs from catalytic converter ?

Hey guys,
I took my catalytic converters off to put on some test pipes. I might have to put my cat's back on for emissions testing. The question is, when i took the cat's off I broke the studs on both sides. Is it possible to remove the stud from the cat's so that i can bolt it onto the headers ?
