Depends on your budget and time of need. The geminis go for somewhat cheap and u can have one within a few days. FI is alil more pricey depending on options.....will b between 1300-1500 plus shipping and a wait period of about a month. Unless u can find a used one on the forums but theyre usually not dropped much in price cuz everyone loves that exhaust and they know they will sell.

I think most CBe puts down close to the same amount, it's just piping.
Dynos has too many factors playing in There is however big differences in terms of quality. Cnt topspeed, Megan, those are examples of crap. Invidia on other hand is pretty good quality for their price. Last edited by FairladyZ; 12-25-2012 at 06:40 PM. |

Still? Dang! I thought that was the projected wait time due to their move 3months ago. Well at any rate, def worth the wait.

If you want instant gratification and have no patience, Fast I is not for you. Midrange torque is pretty good with the Invidia. These are two diff platforms 60mm vs 63.5 mm each would have a different result.

^ for an FI depending on the set up you choose, you could easily spend up to $1500 even more if you get HFC or headers along with it.

I have the Invidia and made good power. You can see the Dyno sheet in my signature. That was with Invidia test pipes, K&N typhoon intakes the Invidia Gemini CBE and uprev. I now swapped the test pipes for Invidia 200 cel HFC's for state inspection. My shop that tuned my car said a retune wouldn't be necessary since those HFC weren't very restrictive at all and shouldn't have lost any real power.

I actually considered buying it because of the quality and the gains especially at midrange. Lou at Amplified Motorsport is very familiar with it and also recommended it. If it's the Gemini, that's 1300 retail and can be had for 900. I can't tell you to buy at 700 not knowing it's condition. You should look at it and check the welds and the overall condition. I'd also find out how long he's been tying to sell it. Use every little blemish and the amount of time he's been trying to get rid of it as a point to bargain with the seller. I'd ask for another 50-100 off using all these information.
