I would use stainless rivits because I have used aluminum ones on my R1 exhaust and found out the aluminum ones expand and contract with heat and after a while they become loose and start to raddle and leak,

And Holly Shi* dude im so sorry that happend,

shayandude 12-18-2012 07:33 AM

They are actual screws, no rivets

Yikes! Tony ALWAYS goes above and beyond for his customers. I may have an option for you. I happen to have an extra set of brand new, never installed SS mufflers that I planned on selling a few months ago but ended up holding on to. I'm ready to clear them out of my garage if you are interested. PM me if interested friend.

For the few members that asked how low my car is, I have. Finger gap all the way around. Stiffness is set on 14 out of 30. 1 being the softest,30 being the stiffest.

If that's your preference then sweet cause I know it looks sick, but have you considered going to a 2 finger gap? That's where I'm at now, and no scrapes.

Tnx Chris. Hope I get them on for Xmas. Can't be not riding on Xmas day looking At lights.... Too old for "yo come pick me up" lol

Err, with Christmas being Tuesday, unless he were to 2-day or Next-Day Air them, I don't know if I'd be expecting them before Christmas. :(

It looks plenty good for me. Although I don't think they did 2 fingers in the rear, or they used someone with fat fingers :icon14: cause the rear looks like it sits 1/4" higher. I'll have them level it out when I get it corner balanced though.

shayandude 12-19-2012 07:56 AM

Yeah right now, my back sits an 8th lower than my front.
