Hey all, am pretty new to modding and all. My Z is completely stock. Am looking to push atleast 300whp or more. I've read about intake+exhaust mods, but i would like to know what is the best possible combos out there. Also the best bang for the buck. For an example, Berk's HFC + exhaust...etc) If you guys could lists a set of mods to help me out, that would be great.

Gen 3's, Stillen exhaust and an Uprev tune should get you there. Kind of depends on the dyno though. When you look at your dyno numbers, the gains over baseline are more important than the actual hp number. The Fast Intentions exhaust is pretty popular too, but there is a bit of a wait. When choosing an exhaust, I would honestly just look for the one that sounds and looks good to you since just about any of them will be better than stock. Test pipes are too loud and raspy for my taste and I personally choose better sound over a 10hp gain. You can't realistically push more than 330hp (depending on the dyno) without jumping into a turbo or supercharger on this car.

Working on a budget? go the member for sale threads. Easiest way to get 300whp?

Do TP's and full exhaust. Buy drop ins', post maf tubes and a tune, you'll be good to go.

On the FS threads, I saw LTH's for 775 and 900, you can buy an HKS exhaust for 750ish, ARK resonated HFC's, all kinds of good stuff guys are selling here.

Bottlenecking starts from the header, so i would recommend headers, TP and catbacks. A drop in filter's great too

Not going to do it without replacing the rest of the exhaust. The stock Y pipe looks like a coffee straw.

long tube intakes aka cold air intakes, cat delete (hfc or tp), catback exhaust should put you over 300whp, depending on temp and dyno

uprev tune will make your power more useable, better driveability and "power under the curve"
Quicksilvers likes this.

Stillen Gen 3 intakes and FI exhaust with upRev tuning seem to be the most popular bolt on and tuning options here, but also consider weight reduction opportunities if you're looking for bang for the buck. There's spare tire removal, rear hatch weight removal, lightweight battery, etc. that could prove very efficient in producing performance upgrades maybe not from an hp perspective, but definitely when looking at an hp/weight ratio. A lot of fellow helpful forum members have created threads on weight reduction in the DIY section that are extremely helpful.

CAI and TP/HFC will about get you there for the least amount of money. If you can shell out some more dough get a CBE and a Tune.
