Nissan 370Z Forum - AAM Competition 370z 3" Y-pipe (non nismo fitment) .. it fits!

hey guys,

for those following my other thread, this is not the y-pipe that will be used in the prototype h-pipe/midpipe combo!

After numerous emails and pm's about an aftermarket y-pipe, I finally put our shop 370z up on the R&D lift and test fitted the 350z y-pipe that we've had in production for some time now. IT FITS! Threads and posts confirmed HR y-pipes are interchangeable with non HR y-pipes but I just wanted to double check myself.

We've designed this Y-pipe off a 350z originally so it was really exciting to see this product fit up to a 370z with no fitment issues at all. What's more exciting is this is the beginning steps to building a 3" single exhaust for the 370z :tup:

2.5" piping off of the cats, merging into a 3" pipe
Precision TIG welded T-304 stainless steel
Stainless steel T-304 Flanges
Bolts up to factory intermediate pipe
Made in house
