FI will probably sell his cat back at similar price point or a bit less. And his makes power and is deep and loud. Rules Borla out for me.

Thats just too expensive for a CBE, 1,700 ? Thats a down payment on a Z for me.

I had Borla on my 06 350Z and it sounded amazing with headers and TP It saved weight also I think it was around 16lbs and made some decent HP also

Im going to be getting this for the 370Z for sure !!!

I'm not particularly digging the sound nor the price.

This is Alvin from Borla Performance Industries in California. Thanks for your interest in this Cat-Back™ exhaust, Borla 140313. The weight savings is 15.3 lbs (42.5 lbs VS 57.8 lbs) and flow rate (improvement average) is over 20% than stock. Oh, and it sounds great!

At Borla, we understand it's tough to make a sound decision from a video clip. Recording equipment is often limited in frequency capture and the physical 'live' experience is tough to reproduce in a loudspeaker. We encourage those who've heard this 370Z exhaust note to share their opinions of this exhuast note - we believe it's a huge improvement over the OE with an agressive lower note. Thanks again.

Typically we see 5-7% gains in hp and torque.
I'll check on this. We prefer to share numbers from our production (not prototype) exhausts. Thanks again for your interest.

I have the Borla full catback exhaust on my Z. While it is louder than stock, I'd have to say honestly that it's an exhaust for people looking for gains while not sounding loud. There's no rasp or drone, but at same time does not have any deep throaty bass to it, as let's say an exhaust with N1-like piping like the Ark.
I find the Borla construction and fitment good but I will be switching out to the Ark when I get the chance. There's nothing wrong with Borla, it's a matter of preference for me.

Alvin from Borla Performance..Thanks for your feedback. How much louder would you like it?

It's not difficult to make more sound in this system - we have the knowledge and experience to make it very aggressive. The challenge is to offer an aggressive exhaust note without drone or cabin resonance at cruising speeds. We offer this system that's louder than stock sound at wide-open-throttle that can also be driven all day.

Keep in mind that sound is subjective and what works for one may not work for everyone. Thanks.

sry for the late reply. in the local z meets i've been going to, there have been a few people that said they like my exhaust note or would even like to get a borla so i think it really comes down to what kind of ear you have. i'm happy with the gains in the borla but am waiting for a good trade or deal on an Ark after hearing one in person

I think I'm going to end up buying your Borla from you. I have first dibs when you're selling it. Remember that.
