In fact, the front spoiler guards (or whatever those black pieces are called below the front lip) scraped a little on the highest bump, but there was no scraping whatsoever on the mufflers.

Keep in mind I'm stock height with 18" rims. But I just wanted to post for those worried about clearance...No worries!
thats good to know thnx

We need to find a route with a tunnel or two.

I'm getting tempted to drive to LAX just to hear it under a long tunnel, but there's lots of cops there

Got mine today! Installed it tonight and it's perfect. 18" Resonators with ERZ HFC's and it sounds awesome! Matter of fact, I could have even gone with the 12"! But then again I went from having the Meisterschaft to the FI....

Only issue so far is the tips are not aligned even. Left side is lower than right. What are you all doing to fix this issue???

EDIT: added 3 small washers to each bolt on the right side which was sitting higher. Now it's even.

I've heard customers had this issue many times...and I know its easy to fix. but I'm just wondering why FI keep building exhaust that has the problem.. is it hard to build exhaust without the problem @ first place?

You must really like a LOUD exhaust!

Shim the muffler hanger (all three bolt, where the hanger attaches to the undercarriage) with washers on the high side.

I can't complain about tip alignment - mine were perfect, no shimming. And from what I've read tip misalignment is far more common on other brands.

As a recent installer, I can tell you THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Even if you have to shim, it is very easy. You can get to the muffler hangers easily without lifting the car. A ratchet, extension, and 12mm socket and some 1/4" (or maybe 3/8") washers, and you're done.

Well I think the hanger needs to be adjusted. I wonder how easy I can bend it? I also noticed one tip sticks out further than the other. But my other exhaust did the same thing so I think it might be my car... As long as I can get the tips even I will be happy. I love the sound so I am happy.

No need to worry, stuff like this happens, it cannot be perfect for everyone! I highly recommend this exhaust and the wait is worth it.

EDIT: added 3 small washers to each bolt on the right side which was sitting higher. Now it's even.
