People are telling me that there is a difference in the sound of the exhaust based on if u buy CF mufflers or not. That didn't make any sense to me because I thought all they are doing is changing the material to carbon, which shouldn't make a real difference in sound. The carbon fiber is the sleeve to the muffler it is not an overlay. The sound escapes easier through the carbon fiber and is absorbed better through the stainless steel. They sound very similar and most people will not be able to tell the difference. I designed the system and have heard more combinations than anyone. This is how I am able to know the difference.
