Also Tony as soon as you update your list this week and confirm that my shipment will be out by Friday I will just call you and pay ahead over the phone.

oh yeah and in case anyone missed the pics, they are back on page 252.

*shrug* From what I remember Tony telling me, the CF exhaust gives the deeper tone. I'm sure its pretty negligible either way though.

I just sent Tony an email asking him to clarify. I'll post his reply when I get it.

My HFCs and CBE together were 125 for install. My local guy was telling me how much of a bitch the CBEs were, but his price was very fair.

Answer from Tony on tone of CF vs. SS: "The carbon fiber has a slightly high pitch to them. With that being said, the stainless steel is a little quieter."

Fair enough, although I swear he told me the opposite (about the tone) when I ordered mine.

It's probably deeper down low and more exotic up top.

Any updates on shipment for this week? I got to use a vacation day to make sure I get these when they arrive(and to get them installed).

Also Tony I'm just going to call you today when I have a chance and pay for my order in full so there's no delay.

So I heard an FI CF CBE with the 18" res and HF cats for the first time last night thanks to neveucd and curious if this setup would sound similar to having a SS CBE with the 12" res and stock cats? I am order #155 for a SS CBE but have to get back to Tony in the next couple weeks about either a 12" or 18" res...I am for sure keeping my stock cats and thought the 18" res with HFC's sounded good so if anybody could tell me that both setups sound about the same or one setup is louder than the other then that would be appreciated.

I dont know what 18" resonators sound like with HFC's, but I have 12" resonators with SS and stock cats. I will try and take a video for ya this weekend. Check your PM!
