The others being it's still a good amount of money and I'm not sure how much of a diff it will make to me since I use it as my DD and am not tracking much (if at all, but hope to get out some time).

Just asking about the civics because they really annoy me. I've seen civic forums where kids ask for advice on making their car loud just to be loud and not anything about gains or performance.
Well you're in the right thread... the F.I. exhaust even with stock cats adds 20 whp to the car... and with 18" resonators it's VERY quiet, but with a nice growl... add in the test pipes and you are almost at 30 whp... add in again a set of Stillen G3's and you're looking at maybe 40 whp over stock... that's a mid to high 12 second car... especially if you add some pulleys... BUT again you have to be a good driver to get these numbers... but it should be more about the fun of it and just driving on an actual road course would really make us appreciate the Z's ability. I don't have ANY local tracks to me to go to but I would LOVE to run my Z on one! Get a Civic on one of those tracks and it's... buh bye

Won't it get pretty loud with the test pipes? But wow, 40whp is impressive. Just wondering since TPs seem to get better gains than HFCs and both are pretty much illegal in California, why do most people seem to get the HFCs?

The HFC vs TP's is about a 4-5 hp difference... since being illegal there (as they both are here in Md) I would just keep the stock cat set-up, and get the G3's, pulley kit, some people even buy 4.08 rear gears which gives it a little more kick.

I am nor familiar at all with pulley kits. I am a super newb and most of my knowledge is from all of you wise members. That said, what are the pros and cons of a pulley kit? Is it a tough/expensive (time, if I have someone do it) and will it affect the reliability of my car (it's my only DD)? What kind of gains would it give me and how much does it cost/which ones do you recommend? Anything I should know about it concerning maintenance?

Exhaust, HFC/TPs, and exhaust seemed like the basic mods everyone did and don't get it not he engine or anything too much which I like since I am totally not a DIY guy when it comes to cars.

Anyone know if Tony has specials for install if you are installing multiple parts at once? He is never available when I call because he's too busy making all of you guys' exhausts, haha.

I would just leave your questions here and let him get to you... with their new exhaust set-up, they had some shipping issues that slowed their production down quite a bit so i'm sure he's working overtime.
