I'm confused. I thought that the FI catback was making upwards of 20 WHP by itself. This is only showing 12.5 HP with the catback and headers...

Gains are not cumulative. This car already had CAI on it which I see people claiming 10-15 on. If the catback was the only thing done you'd like see 15-20, but since other things were done each mod doesn't make as big of a difference as if it were by itself.

It's diminishing returns and all that.

It does comparing it to (bone stock). However when the baseline was performed the car (already) had an NST underdrive pulley and AEM long tube intakes. The car made slightly over 300 RWH for the baseline. In completely stock form these cars will see around 278-284 RWH.

You cannot compound bolt ons. They will only compliment each other. For example, If cats pick up 15 alone and a CBE picks up 15-20 alone, combined they will see about 25 RWH. It is not as simple as 2+2 when we are talking about breathing mods. in N/A form.

Thanks, Tony

That's when it's a good idea to get a tune to get back those ponies that weren't gained with multiple bolt-ons. Fast Intentions makes GREAT POWER on all their products, I would know first hand.

That all makes sense, and I experienced the same thing with my M3, but I wonder if a tune couldn't pull some more out of it given all the mods. Everything looks great. Love those 100 cell cats.

It would and will.

Got mine on Monday, safe and sound. Went to a friends house with a lift this morning and installed. Very simple install, no problems at all. Everything fit and lined up perfectly.

I got the 12" resonated and stainless. It sounds fantastic. I only have about 20 miles on the car so far but I am very pleased. Can definitely feel the difference when driving.

I also debated for months wether to go with the 12 or 18. I listened to every video I could find. I discussed with tony and he recommended the 12". I'm super pleased. It's not too loud at all, but a bit louder than stock. Sounds nice and aggressive, but still fits the car and isn't over the top at all. Just cruising around you can hear it slightly, but no one would think the car is loud. Get on it and it comes alive, sounds like an exotic car but again it doesn't sound out of place.

Thanks so much tony. Totally worth the wait!

We are pleased to hear that you are enjoying the exhaust. At about 125-150 miles you will notice it quiets down about 10%from when it is brand new.

Please do not hesitate to call me directly if you have any questions.

Thank you, Tony

I know it's been said multiple times already, but when my buddy and I installed my exhaust on Thursday he (nor I) could stop complementing the superb craftsmanship of the exhaust. From the welds to the fitment, if Fast Intentions makes it, I will consider it before anyone else's products.
