Just call Tony, great guy to deal with.

I think this exhaust is awesome...

My only concern is the ground clearance on the rear end of the cans... I know that it was mentioned that the cans are about 5-6 inches off the ground but this is at STOCK height, right..??

How about when Eibach Springs or Coilovers are installed..?? Now that can be sort of an issue...

Please correct me if I'm wrong...

I'm wondering the same thing. Would it be too low with coilovers that lower the car?

The lowest point is the front of the rear two cans. They are about 5 inches off of the ground. Keep in mind, where they are located is in relation to the rear tires and as the car goes over a speed bump, by the time it is on the down swing the front of the mufflers are over the bump. No doubt you will have to be careful and mindful of your exhaust. But you should be like that anyway.

Here is what tony said a few pages back

I think that the real thing to consider is how much clearance is lost by this exhaust. Coilovers can be adjusted. Slamming your car will definately cause you to scrape the underside. The real question is if a reasonable drop, with reasonable suspension compression on a reasonable road will scrape. Or on speedbumps.

That said, I think this exhaust is a work of art. It definitely deserves the attention it is getting here in the community and I'd like to thank Fast Intentions, and especially Tony for doing this. I will defintitely be ordering in the near future.

Wonder if having some kind of 'skid plate' fabricated to protect them, perhaps add some aerodynamic qualities as well, should be R&D'd-ed-ed?

I can see a plastic cover for the midsection in the rear to reduce draft, but as a skid playe over the exhaust, maybe over the top

We just took the car out for lunch, went over numerous speed bumps at a regular pace. The exhaust didn't even come close to hitting.

BTW, we also tested out a non resonated X Pipe. You want to talk about exotic, holy crap it sound wicked.

I am going for a tunnel run tonight with the car. It is equiped with our HFC's and the X Pipe with the 12" resonators. Now I have a non resonated X Pipe in my shop that I might try to get back on there sometime next week. But for now the video I am doing tonight will have to do.

Togo 07-24-2009 05:30 PM

has anyone even bought the non-res X pipe yet? I soooooo want to hear this. Hope it isn't raspy.
