Yup Headers... Mustang Dyno. Dyno's weren't in 5th gear 1:1 ratio, but that just means I came out even better.

oh ok... well on the mustang that makes a lot more sense... I was going to say that all of those mods seemed like they would gain more power.

How much do you expect to gain from the tune? I didn't think the Z's made to much more power with a tune?

I wonder what kind of power I would gain with that set-up minus the headers. I'm not looking to spend a whole load of money... just a decent exhaust the the panel filters and the cobb tubes. Would it perhaps get me into the high 12's?

I think the most common numbers we've seen from people is in the +15-20hp from a tune. But the biggest key is how it smooths the powerband out to where power comes sooner because you're not limited by the 0-60 limiter. And the map is adjusted for your mods so your engine can run better.

As for with those, high 12's should def be possible I would think...

Your not going to see 15-20hp from a tune on top of all your other mods. You will be lucky if you see 5 to maybe 10 but probably closer to 5. The tune is just going to clean the car up make it run properly and change the overall feel of the car in a good way.

Seems to me those are pretty respectable gains seeing as how it hasn't been tuned yet. Darn near 10% gain in HP.

I myself am seriously considering getting the FI CBE/HFC combo with 18" res, even the youtube recorded sound at WOT make me all inside. My only concern is about highway drone. Any of you guys that have this or a similar setup installed have an opinion? If this has been addressed previously in this thread, the thousands of replies have intimidated me beyond attempting to find it lol.

Nice job there Captain

Took this shot on Wednesday, love it. Really enjoying the exhaust more and more.

I know someone asked about drone, I have 18" resonators....no drone...but I also have stock cats...so not sure how that would be with HFC.

their exhaust does sound really good... i'll likely go with it when I get more money along with an intake set-up.
