Fast Intentions exhaust is here!

Thanks Dreamer, Any huge difference in drone with 18", 12" or no resonator, how about stainless steel vs. carbon fiber mufflers does this affect sound or is it primarily weight?

Found it Ron,
Think i'm going with HFC + straight up X exhaust (no resonator) and SS muffler, only because they sit low and I know i might be careless enough to rush through a speed bump. Opinions, comments, recommendations?

Thanks,

I'm tempted but I dont want to have problems with passing the emissions inspections down here in TX. Is there is a significant difference in power between going with FI CBE and headers vs. FI HFC with CBE?

Ryan,
does your TDX CBE have a resonator, how much for the install of the headers and CBE? or did you do it yourself.

Ok question for you guys. I bought my exhaust used and the person that owned it before me tracked the car so the marks seemed to be baked right in.

I used Mothers metal polish tonight. Worked very well and getting most of the black off but now there are still marks that you can't even feel. If you rub your finger over these marks it feels 100% smooth. I tried to take a picture of them but it doesn't show in the pictures, the only way I can explain it is; they are like brown birth marks IN the tips.

Any suggestions? The polish seems to get everything off that is on the surface but this doesn’t seem to be on the surface anymore, is this possible?

Edit: I have only used a microfiber towel so far, should I use something more aggressive?

So due to my recent knee surgery I wont be able to install my exhaust myself this weekend and got a quote to install my exhaust with HFC. They quoted me 400-500. Roughly 4 hours or so. Good price or no?

I'm assuming this price is labor, disposal fee, and tax?

My shop in Chicago charges only 400 dollars total for my headers and exhaust.

That is the heat discoloring the stainless steel. You have to use a polish with abrasives, I used Meguiar's 105 compound on mine and it cleaned up all the staining and other imperfections easily and quickly with a microfiber towel. You can also use something OTC like Megs Ultimate Compound or any other aggressive polish you have.

Here is how mine turned out:
