I know, everyone would and we will get to it. Today is Monday and Monday's are crazy around the shop. Tomorrow evening we will try to get some videos up from the dyno and by weeks end we should have a nice video up of the HFC's TDX cat back combo.

Here are a few pictures of our supporting mods:

F.I. 300 Cell Metallic cats W/U Bend style O2 sensor non foulers:

F.I. Resonated Test Pipes W/U Bend style O2 sensor non foulers:

F.I. Straight Test Pipes W/U Bend style O2 sensor non foulers:

*Note*- With the purchase of either of these and a TDX cat back exhaust system together, I will discount these slightly further. Call it the: F.I. package deal!!!

Thanks, Tony

I have a question -

Since the HFC may lead to slight rasp have you ever considered utilizing the hfc and the resonator on the same pipe? Your pictures made me think of it as the hfc would match up perfectly with the resonator seen below it...

Although I am not sure how this would affect flow...

Nick,

I am happy to inform you that there would be no need for that resonator as the TDX system paired up with the high flow cats has NO RASP what so ever, I'm the owner of the car they are using to prototype the TDX system and I finally got to hear the finished product with high flow cats yesterday and man, all I have to say as far as sound/performance goes is..... "99 problems but Berk ain't 1" hahahahaha! I'M ONLY TEASING, so please don't start a flamewar. ;) but anyway with the High Flows installed it's almost the exact same beautiful tone as just the TDX alone just with a little added "Ooomph" meaning slightly louder, yet somehow strangely maintains the "no drone" rolling around the city at 40MPH on 6th gear, at least as per MY test drive of the Z.

Also for all my fellow forum members, I have the Stillen Gen 3's off the car right now, but look forward to a dyno with the full catback/w high flows/ w intakes installed coming up real soon. And hopefully in a week or two a video with the carbon fiber mufflers as well.

FI,

Those pipes look to be excellent quality. Your exhaust never fails to impress.

Do you mean like this:

I actually have done this for a customer recently and he loves it. It will not effect performance and it looks like nothing else out there.

This is really good news. Thanks for letting us know.

I wonder how those would sound with the TDX catback 12" resonators.

Could you do before and after dyno runs w/ only change being the intakes?

(w/o for baseline, since it'd be a different dyno, different day - w/ for seeing increase)

Also, with the front bumper on! :)

Would having the resonated HFC's and the 18" reso/stainless still be louder than stock, just smoother and more rumbly?

Def. louder than stock. However this combination will be very deep with a low, low rumble!

woah... Tony! you continue to impress me man. props to you for going above and beyond. like I've been saying, I was so happy with your product back on my G35; but your knowledge and constant attention in this thread, prompt PM replies, and overall interaction with the community and ability to customize and offer so many options has definately made me all the more confident in you and your product.

As soon as I can gather the funds (without dipping into mine and my wife's summer vacation fund, haha) I will certainly be calling you. :driving:
