18" will be great for you. They are NOT too quiet.

^^ Sweet.

You wouldn't happen to have any video clips of your setup, would you? I tried searching YouTube but there's only a handful with the 18" resos, and they weren't that great. One is just normal driving and the other one the guy had RTP.

I am for sure getting this exhaust! Looks, sound, fitment, everything sounds incredible, even the gains! The only thing I'm on the fence about is the Fast Intentions HFC. I'm worried about throwing codes, not passing emissions, and voiding my warranty. Please end these nightmares

I'm not due for an inspection til 2013..this is why I kept my stock cats I don't know if NJ does a sniff test, never kept a car long enough for inspection haha. But I'm going for the hfc's and I'm not worried about the smell or codes. We should be good. If not, keep your stock cats for inspection

Tony and others can back me up on this but FI's HFC's WILL NOT throw CELs and they will pass emissions!

Edit: Also the only way these would void a warranty is if the dealer can PROVE the product damaged the car, that's not very likely. I've been modding brand new cars for 10 years and have not had a problem ONCE.

Our high flow cats are OBD II compliant in 49 states. California being the one where they are not. They WILL NOT pass in California. However other states restrictions vary. So aside of California it will all depend on your states law.

As far as a CEL light, we got that covered! With our J bend style O2 sensor anti fouler (which is built in standard) you will be good to go.

Tony

I know this might have been covered, but I did a search and nothing came up about your tdx for the Z being street legal or not. Can someone shed some light on this please? I've always known aftermarket exhausts were kind of a gray area, but it never stopped me from buying one before. Just curious.

It's street legal. Most aftermarket exhaust are. Unless your exhaust is through the roof loud. But even still, I see muscle cars around my area all the time with the loudest freaking exhausts and they never seem to get pulled over. Also, to my knowledge, exhausts don't alter emissions much, so you're good.

Now, HFCs and TPs are a different story.

I'm #137 and I ordered it about a week and a half ago. Mine's due end of may to mid June.
I've decided to get the 18" Resonated with CF mufflers paired with FI Hi-Flow Resonated Cat/Pipes.
Has anyone else got this combo? I'm hoping the 2x resonated will only affect the volume and not the Famous FI 'voice' of the car.

^^ Not that I know of but I too am considering the RHFCs. I ordered my exhaust (SS w/18" resos) yesterday. I may add the RHFCs to the order later on. We'll see
