Tony is super nice and makes a great system. The F.I. system that I got about 2 months ago is lower than the stock muffler.

At work I always backed my car into the space till my rear wheels touch the parking block.

I put my brand new F.I. system on and went to work the next day. I backed into my spot like I always have and scraped both of my brand new cans on the same parking block that the stock system cleared! Boy was I pissed, luckily the scrapes weren't too bad.

So in some places it is definitely lower. I only park nose in now.

Just a heads up for anyone getting a new system.

You know Tony puts his own personal 'touch' on every exhaust he sends out... :ugh2: So make sure to inspect it for any strange streaks... :ugh2:

:bowrofl:

Is that why he says it's a two and a half inch pipe? :eek2:

"Lower" refers to the lowest point of the exhaust system. The difference in your situation is a completely different routing from the factory setup.

just received my new exhaust today and installed it all within 3 hours. Couldnt stand seeing it in a box. went on a 100 mile drive from jersey to philly and LOVED it. Added a solid amount of power and the sound was so much more powerful. Great service, Great product

highly recommend buying this exhaust!

Today is an exciting day. Various parts are coming in for our TT Kit, our 3" TDX is almost ready for pictures and it is Friday!

A few local Z owners are stopping by to see the operation!

Most importantly 2 more TDX CBE's are shipping by the end of today!

Thanks, Tony

Nixlimited 02-10-2012 10:50 AM

Hey Tony,

Has anyone ever come to your shop for an install and left with the OEM in the Z? I am seriously considering coming up rather than having you ship it to me, but if I can't get the OEM back in the car then it's a wash.

Thanks!
Nick

Nick,

I have had customers leave with their stock exhaust in the Z about 50 times!

Hope that helps!

Again, Tony... Thank you for this. I was just wondering last night :)
I assume my Stillen CBE should also fit in the Z? We'll see in 3 weeks!

Hermitns 02-10-2012 12:38 PM

Whoa!!!!

Just had my F.I. exhaust installed. WOW. Great fit. Deep GROWL. No rasp. I drove all the way home with the radio OFF. I got a grin Mike Tyson couldn't wipe off my face (didn't say I'd be conscious....lol). Tks for everything Tony.
The shop guys wanted to "hear" it when I left. Did my best but I don't think I impressed 3 Twin Turbo Z owners with my display. Everyone there loved this setup.

It's actually odd how well the stock exhaust fits inside the car lol... I can vouch for this because I did it!

A little update,

It is true. We are in the process of prototyping a twin turbo kit for the 370Z!

More details will follow in the coming weeks along with 2 new threads.

1) The Fast Intentions 3" TDX is here!

2) The Fast Intentions Twin Turbo kit is here!

I am sure a lot of you have a barrage of questions for me regarding both. I ask that you all be patient and I promise to share the information in due time.

What I can tell you now is the 3" TDX will be identical to our 2.5" version in design with a few extra options. It has already been prototyped on a 370Z TT (GTM) kit for over a year. This specific car is is putting down 570 RWH on 100 octane and has less interior noise than our 2.5" N/A version!

In addition to these new products Fast Intentions as a company has more new products coming soon.

Stay tuned, 2012 is going to be a busy year!

Thanks, Tony

Holy Sh1t, I creamed in my pants... I can't believe FI is goin FI. I know I'm late to the party but I'm going to have to try my best and support the new turbo on the block. This is exciting.

The Stillen exhaust will fit in your Z. You will just have to take it apart and put it in piece by piece!

Thanks, Tony

I may have to cancel my trip to Cali this summer. My girl is being reassigned to AZ and my reassignment is still up in the air. I may just be forced to have you ship it to the house for me. I will give you more specifics on Friday, when I have more information (hopefully).

No worries! I should have the Greddy TT car here later this coming week. I will have it in and out in 1 full day.

Their system is first and yours will be right after that. At least you won't have to ship me the car any more like we originally thought!

Looking forward to talking to you soon...

Thanks, Tony

Felix 808 02-11-2012 09:30 PM

Tony it was great meeting with you on Friday. Appreciated the tour of the shop the other day & seeing the operation . Would of posted sooner, but became really ill once I got home & still fighting it now :shakes head:.

Guys, Tony is a great guy and his shop is the real deal. it may not be miles of property like you see on American Asshat (American Chopper BS), but they're doing it all in house & doing it right. I know there are plenty of people here that are impatient & want there stuff & there post, pm's & such answered straight away, but this guy has a business to run & from what I saw he is running it very well. He goes out of his way to educate the customer & will not try to up sell you on anything. Seeing first hand the materials & craftsmanship that are taking place in his shop, I can say that they are second to none as well as his dedication to the customer. I may be new to the sport car scene, but am no way new to production of performance items & have seen plenty of examples both good & bad business practices throughout the industry. Trust me, Tony is definitely one of the good ones.
Back to that being patient stuff, Tony & his crew are building custom systems by hand, not just grabbing some pre-made crap in a box & sending it out. This stuff takes time & trying to keep up with all the intent stuff I am amazed at how well he does it. Tony and his crew have some nice stuff in the works & I guarantee that your patience with him & the company will be well rewarded.

Tony thanks again for meeting with me, I really enjoyed it. You've got a great business model over there... Customer service is King.

Rob
