All of your business and loyalty is what makes it worth while! This just the tip of the iceberg! With the new 3" TDX, TT Kit & our other products coming out, we have only begun. I cannot talk about the (other) new products at this time but I can tell you is they are affordable in price, have a very quick turnaround & everyone can use them. Yes, even customers that do not currently have any of our FI products! More to follow on that by late February... Thanks, Tony |
^ great job to the FI team. Great customer service + quality products... you can't lose
|
I may be wrong about this... but I was watching something on Speed TV, and they had a quick breakdown about what size you want for exhaust. Short version= a car producing 300- 450 HP want to stay at 2.5" ideally, as HP goes up, exhaust diameter goes up. So if that's true, the 3' exhaust would be no benefit, and possibly detriment. Comments?

I think you mentioned a new intake system months ago no? |

Now being turbo or twin turbocharged the 3" will not hurt you at all. In fact it will help you get to a zero PSI back pressure. This is optimal to maximize performance. Turbos do not need any back pressure to make low end torque. Thanks, Tony |

Nope, it is not the intakes or stickers. The stickers are already here and the intakes are currently on the back burner due to the 3" TDX and TT Kit! Tony |
Woah...............intake? How did I miss that one?
|
I love it when company's make full bolt-ons for a platform. Then you know everything was built to work together and at least in FI's case, for maximum performance. Definitely looking forward to new products.

Tony get me some stickers cut so I can get some on my truck as well!

Tony, great thread, still reading through it & learning a lot. I am excited about this exhaust. :ughdance: & will be stopping by the shop next Friday 2-10 since you are just over the hill. Look forward to having all my ???'s lined up & ready to see what we can put together.
Thanks Rob :tiphat: |
so whts the difference between resonated 12 vs 18 vs non resonated? louder? more performance?
|
Quote:
With non resonated you get the full volume of the motor plus rasp. With the 12" and 18" resonators, the rasp is removed and the volume is toned down a bit. Plus it gives it a deeper sound. Throw in the headers and or the CF exhaust cans and you can change the note even more to give yourself a completely unique setuop  |
Tony, I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing products. We finished installing your exhaust and HFCs today and boy, did I miss that sound! If I recall correctly, your HFCs sound even deeper than the Berks I had with your exhaust on my totaled Z.
I also installed 4.08 gears today so I can't really say how much of the added power was attributed to your products, but WOW does this car pull now! I can't wait to get it tuned. |

Tony, answer my PM! :icon17:
Whenever you get time of course. :p  |
Update on my order ?
Hi Tony,
Just wondering where my order is in the line? I know it's still aways away, but I just had to ask... can't wait! :happydance: I did look to see if I can spot a post with the orders listed, but man this thread is HUGE, and its full of compliments and satisfied customers - makes me feel good about parting with my money for this awesome product. :bowrofl: UPDATE: Found the Post with the list... COOL! Thanks! |
Nice Compliment
So I had to valet my car at the Four Seasons (I know I know bad Z owner). Anyways when the valet brought it round, he said "what did you do to the exhaust? It sounds amazing! We have a Ferrari 430 in the garage now and this one sounds better!"
|
Sorry F.I. noob here, I just wanted to ask a question. I've been debating between the F.I. CBE + HFC and the Berk CBE+ HFC and I'm curious if the power gains and sound is similar or does one have an advantage over the other. The Berk looks like the Oem exhaust and I've noticed the F.I. sits fairly low and I was wondering if the FI exhaust would bottom out or scrape.
