Question for Invidia Gemini Exhaust owners
I am close to choosing the Invidia Gemini as I like the price/looks/gains/sound (from what I've read) but there is one caveat that bugs me. In pictures it looks like the exhaust tips stick out a bit too far for my liking. I know that they are adjustable so I am wondering to what extent?
If anybody with the exhaust or have knowledge on it would like to comment I would appreciate it. |

If you want it to be flush with the bumper, it's not for you. It does stick out but by no means is it a deal breaker. I pushed my tips all the way back and I would say 1 - 1.5" at the most (from a side view). Make sure you get a quote from jomer (fbnissan), great customer service, fast shipping and best price I found.

Thanks for the input guys!
NV370z and Red___Zed, do you guys have some pictures of your exhausts? Seems you two have different experiences. NV370z which tips did you go with? I think I would go with the burnt rolled tips. |

As far in as they would go stock. And as far out as they would go: There's a bit of a burr you can grind off to go in further. I don't have any pictures after grinding it off though |

SS rolled tips. I can get you some pics tonight or definitely by morning. I will take them from the top and side view, should give you a great idea of what to expect. Overall, teamed up with the g3's and art pipes v3, I couldn't be happier. Nice tone at idle, quiet between 2.5 -3.5k and not overly obnoxious when really on it.

Here are the pics, as you can see the tips do stick out but it is not bad at all. The tips do follow the lines of the bumper quite nicely. Hope they help make your decision, we have all been there.

Here, they stick out like a sore thumb to me lol, this is as in as they would go. I've gotten compliments for it though since they say it really showcases the burnt tips. I have single walled tips, though I think rolled tips look much more classy
I have a new exhaust now though that has much better fitting tips, and I have to admit it changes the look of the entire rear when looking from the side. I prefer flush sitting tips over the Invidia ones that stick out quite a bit, and you can also see that the tip near the muffler gets smaller which is kind of a turn off imo. ALSO one more thing to note, if you're getting HFC or test pipes, the invidia gemini will rattle like a b*tch

I have the rolled titanium tips and I particularly like the amount they stick out. I first had the rolled SS tips and had the pushed in flush but be careful bc if you push to far on the passenger side the tip ends up not being straight bc of the pipe bend. Not to mention its a pain in the *** to take them off if you push them on to far. (That's how I ended up with a new rear section with the Ti tips)
^Also on the note of rattling with HFC or test pipes^ I had both Invidia test pipes and now their HFC's and I believe that due to you don't use the bracket that bolts the stock cats to the trans. However this past August Invidia redesigned their Y section and removed the flex pipes bc they would eventually start to flex to much and leak. I suffered from this and they replaced my Y section under warranty with the new design free of charge. The new design features slide in flex section with a spring. Ever since that was done no more rattle/vibrate. I have been very happy with everything I have purchased from Invidia the fit and finish was great, sound is perfect and power gains are awesome. Plus their customer service was very good, I was even a little outside my 1 year warranty when my flex joints started to leak and they still hooked me up and made sure I got the new design. So I definitely recommend it.
