Exhaust Dynos
gents, do we have any updated threads to see how much of a gain we can expect from certain CBE setups? thanks to those who have compiled a great list of CBEs in other threads, but it seems like they're a little outdated and it doesn't seem like it has many dyno figures on there.
thanks |
Generally speaking, a good catback will give you gains of at least 15 wheel horse. It all depends on the particular goal of that catback, as some are more focused toward sound rather than performance.
A popular choice is the Fast Intentions because dyno charts are everywhere, and they often make the best gains, 99 times out of 100. 25+ wheel horsepower gain is pretty impressive, after all. |
hey thanks for the reply. although i do prefer function over form, i do want something with titanium burnt tips. as of now, im torn between the greddy ti-c and the ark grip v2. can anyone compare the two? i havent seen dyno numbers of any of the 2 mentioned.

Both those exhausts aren't that popular so you'll be going a different route. I think you'll probably see a louder sound and more gain with the Ti-C than you will with the ARK. IIRC FI's exhaust has interchangeable tips, but I don't know. I'm not even getting an FI catback anyway. |
