Can't say I'd be able to do a single exit. I have always loved duals, and with the stock rear bumper having two cut outs for tips, my OCD symmetry would get the better of me.
That single exit sounds great. Doesn't seem all that raspy at all, although we aren't seeing much load on it. As for volume, can't really say unless it's in person. That's the only problem with buying/building exhausts. You get the note but not the volume. If I could, I would retitle this thread as "How To Get a Race Car Sound." So far we've got good contenders!

Of course this is just my opinion, but I have the FI LTH and non res CBE with the cf mufflers, and I LOVE IT. For me it's the perfect mix of smooth deep note and a roar when you get on it. The fun starts at 0:40

Sounds great. I would want a bit more of high rpm scream, but that is pretty close to my goal.

I used all mandrel bent tubing, I don't have any sort of that at my shop, so I had to pie cut some pieces to get the angles I wanted. Tacked it all up and then hit it with the tig. Cost me close to $700 in supplies after buying all of the SS flanges, muffler, resonator and tubing, ect. It sounds pretty exotic, I have had a lot of people tell me it doesn't sound like a Nissan. haha. |

The hiss is pretty quiet, and since most cameras without a separate sound input will normalize, you'll hear the exhaust over everything, because it's the loudest thing.

Use exhaust wrap on the test pipes and y-pipe. It will deepen the exhaust, remove some drone inside, lessen the hiss from the test pipes and reduce the rasp drastically.

I might do a wrap, but seeing as I am still debating even keeping the entire assembly, such a measure might be an unnecessary expense. Worth a try, though.
