4.08 Final Drive questions
 
Alright folks I'm contemplating this to be my next mod. I'm between getting this or LTH. What do you guys think the best bang for the buck is between the two?

For those already with the 4.08 gears, Z1 is offering an install kit for another $280+. Is that needed to install these? What else is needed to have this installed? Also, what did you pay in labor ballpark so I know what to expect?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Give more information on where your headed with your build. Are you going to F/I then don't swap gears. If you stay N/A then good choice..more info is always better

I know all about the gearing when going boosted. I eventually plan to go TT but that won't be till a ways down the road. I'm spraying at this moment but I don't like being reliant on it as I only spray when I'm at the track.

So what do you think will benefit me the most? LTH or Final Drive? Eventually I want to have both on but what would I feel instantly and be able to tell the difference in the 1/4 mi.?

LTH =100% HP flywheel. Are you station in Guam? ?

If you have a 6MT, your synchro rev match feature will start having some issues the faster you go. I think a set of gears will take you faster down the track than LTH's, but long tubes will make you sound bad a$$ while your doing it.

HP Flywheel? Yes I know it'll add HP but for the price comparison which will make the bigger difference?

Yes stationed on GU :-)

True that about sounding bad ***. I'll eventually have both but for now I need something that's gonna make me feel the difference so I'm guessing for lots of reading that the gears will liven up the car but what's average cost of labor for install?
