Unhappy Stillen Intake Concerns

UPDATE: Everything has been checked out and is perfectly okay and normal. I talked with Stillin, they confirmed the system was installed correctely and the noise is a normal engine sound. To double check this I took the car to Nissan, and there Nismo tech also said the same thing.

Car is running great - the I'm really liking the intake.

Need some help here.

As I posted earlier, I got a Gen 2 Intake (yes I know the Gen 3 is better...). It was installed earlier today.
Anyways I am noticing an audible noise - high pitched coming from the engine bay. Never noticed it before, though I admit it could have been there the whole time. It's sounds like and electrical "bbbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" (best description I got.....)

Here is a video I just shot of the engine running at idle. You can easily here the noise in the video - seems to be louder on the driver side. Once the camera gets close you can hear it right away though - my best discription is an electronic ringing..... Not feeling good right now.

Surprisingly the YouTube Video sounds EXACTLY what it actually sounds like.

In this case you would just remove one side and place the factory back in to listen to the bbbbbbbeeeeeee, then you can tell if its normal or not.. if nothing on your factory side then reinstall both after markets . This will take less time than trying to pin point where what your hearing is normal or not..sound from video is subjective to quality

Just an update - the noise still remains.

I'm going to try and re-seat the connections and reset the ECU for good measure. I'll let you guys know the status there after.

- UPDATE:

I re-sat the silicon, all hoses are on completely and the same can be said for the clamps. The noise is still there, unchanged.

I haven't put it back to stock yet. I have driven the car - it drives like it normally would. You cannot hear the noise in cabin. Near the hood you can hear it - with the hood up you can REALLY hear it.

I called Stillen - they said as long as there is no Check Engine Light - it is installed correctly and everything is okay.... I'm not so sure.

I had the same problem with my Injen CAI's when I first installed. It went away after a while though. Haven't heard it since.

Think it has something to do with the ECU re-adjusting?

So I checked again and apparently the sound is still there. But I've had my intake for about 4 months now and all I've noticed is the power gains. As far as I'm concerned, as long as no lights come on in the dash its fine

It is definetly the ECU, and its a normal running sound - not just "re-adjusting". Took some time, and talks with a NISMO tech to really understand it.

The tech explained that the majority of the 370 ECUs whine - they have replaced many due to customer complaints, but the noise will persist.

...but I agree - if I can't hear it in cabin, and the car runs at 100% I'm happy.
