Guys need to do more research when spending their hard earned money. The Gen3 is nothing like the Injen, you would literally have to submerge the hood of the car in water to have water ingestion. Even just a little water getting on the filters from rain wont do anything, congrats on the intake they are still one of the best just try and search around a bit more before you buy.

Red, he knew about the gen3 location but didn't want to risk anything.

Rain/Water is a huge problem in my area (Florida weather...). A friend had injen intakes in his Z (similar in design to the gen 3) and he suffered from Hydrolocking...

He compared it to his friends Injen which its nothing like. Its virtually impossible to get water ingestion with the Gen3's. Stillen did not tell him that because of liability.

Yea the injens sit way lower than the gen3. I agree with it being virtually impossible to get water ingestion with the gen3

Thats why I love the Gen3 and cant understand why anyone else buys another intake. CAI performance without CAI danger.
