if the measurements come close to the oem nismo h-pipe. We will definitely be in contact!

maybe I should try to find a local nismo z to bring into the shop for test fitment.. hmm

Thank you Khoi! You the man!

k, got a local nismo guy swinging by on Tuesday. We are going to take estimates and basically mock fit our h-pipe, again our h-pipe was designed for the true dual and not as a replacement piece only so we will see how far off it is or whether it'll work or not!

but we just want to cover some bases first and maybe send out a set discounted for someone to test fit since we don't have a nismo z here to test fit it

It's true, I have volunteered my vehicle for the cause.

Here is your video, guys!

Khoi, I'm still debating if I want even more raw sound versus keeping my hearing by the time I'm 35.

hahaha Chops

is the nismo h-pipe really that restrictive? I think the best of both worlds will be when we develop the h-pipe/midpipe combo that bolts to the stock rear section, that should open things up more

I'd be down for this! When and if I get a meisterchaft rear muffler, I will just add my stock resonators back on and get the perfect sound. But I want to hear this setup with the stock Nismo exhaust. Can you pm me the price range for both h pipe and midpipe? Thanks Khoi! :tiphat:

Edit: NM apparently missed your FB message. Just talk to you there.

well the opening from the cat's (HFC has a 2.5" outlet) to the h-pipe is a 2.125" wide inlet. from there, it shrinks down to a 2" outlet before it hits the rest of the mid-pipe. i'd say theres a pretty large restriction there...

Sales@AAMComp 10-05-2012 11:02 PM

so just imagine when we develop this h-pipe + midpipe combo.. 2.5" from the cats all the way to the rear section! open it up!
