i know from having an obx downpipe on my volvo that these things discolor like a son of a b*tch, BUT at this cost it would almost be worth it to pick these up and have them ceramic coated. anyone wanna try em out lol

they will fit but the welds on the pipe are what will give first!

geez idk who's dumber. the person who buys the obx, or the person who buys the supersprint...

with that being said, i havent had any welds on the 3" obx dp on my volvo break in 5+ years of use (temps reaching almost 1400 degress off the turbo). the only thing i have noticed is a crazy amount of discoloration

Well, I can tell you one thing, no one is going to ever accuse the owner of a Supersprint exhaust of being cheap. :rofl2:

Now when you say "discoloration", is that code for "rust"? :icon17: I don't think the OBX headers are genuine 304 Stainless at that price point.

no not rust, execept where i had it welded of course. but its tons of gold, and blue and a lil silver mixed here and there. definately not the prettiest thing in the world.

either way both headers need to be brought. No Z mod should be untouched!

fully polished t304 will always discolor being on the header portion of the exhaust. WAYYY too much heat will turn it into a purple/goldish's color

I had a DC Sport header on my civic like 10 years ago and even that thing, assuming was quality discolored on le 4 banger lol

Not sure what the difference is, but the one on amazon looks like a better design

slightly shorter runners on the Amazon link, might be better for top end power rather than lower end. The shorter runners also claim to have 1.7" ID, the longer runners are 1.7" OD.

I have these sitting in my storage got them cheap from a shop for test fitting .... perfect fitment I have them for sale for $300obo +shipping
