I put on alot of highway miles... how is the drone 65 and above?
my greddy ti-c racing was awesome until the hour drive to work at 8 am  |
Drone is not an issue for me with this exhaust, but everyone has different ideas of what acceptable is. Honestly, you really don't hear this exhaust inside the cabin much when you are not accelerating. I am still running stock cats, so that may be helping. I have HFC'S ready to go on, but haven't got around to installing them.
I couldn't be happier with the sound quality and level of this system. |
It's hard to tell from just the pictures alone, but does this exhaust have better ground clearance than the grip version or is it about the same?
Are the tips titanium or steel?

The tips are burnt stainless Steel. If you guys also take a look at our GRIP exhaust system, we raised up the exhaust quite a bit!
Thanks for all the info! Sorry if this is a redundant question but are the HP and TQ gains about the same between the grip and dt-s?
I do not have a dyno but I have gen 3 intakes and ARK DT-S exhaust and no tune and I can keep up with a friend of mine that has gen 3 intakes, stillen HFC, stillen exhaust and uprev tune..... so power is definitely there.......
Exhaust looks very nice, but i thought "true dual" actually meant that... true dual exhaust, meaning no connection. Or am I wrong?
The "X" pipe still maintains a smooth flow for both pipes. The inner chamber was designed to come in contact inside the chamber and the overall volume of the X chamber is still consistent as if it had 2 separate pipes
