AAM Competition 2.5" True Dual Exhaust

Any idea of gains from this exhaust? The Stillen sound has been my favorite so far, but I think I might like this one better. I'll have to drive over

I'll have to drive over to Columbia some time and hear this in person.

Well the site works now, but still no pics of the AAM exhaust there. Any specs on the thing released, such as weight, or design (are the sides completely isolated, or X/H-pipe, or Y'd like Stillen? Flex joints up front, or solid all the way?). And yeah, dyno would be great too

Not sure if this helps, but here is the same exhaust on a 350z with a bunch of pictures. I'm assuming the layout should be rather close between the two models.

It looks like the sides are completely isolated and it saved 6 lbs on the 350.

Hmm I see a pair of flex joints in that one too

They claim 12-16 HP with this exhaust. I'm not sure I feel that small of a gain though, but I sure do enjoy the sound. ;-)

Wow, that sounds nice. I didnt think there'd be any other exhausts that might interest me other than the Stillen one! I like the slashed tips, too.

Can we find out how much the AAM exhaust for the 370Z weighs? The shipping weight is 5 lbs. less than the Stillen weight...but that could be the way things are packed, packing material, ect.

LOL...Tooohip posted a thread like this on the "other" Z site and it took about 5 seconds of all the haters to come out of the woodworks. It makes me appreciate this site more and more every day. Its no wonder there are NO 370z posters over there.

^ What's there to hate on? I don't get it -- it's not like that other site makes their own exhaust or something. Have they all sworn allegiance to one particular brand or something?

Lol. I was thinking of another 370 site. You mean at a 350 site? No wonder they flame. No wonder why they flame.... Jealousy.

Yep, I posted over there and had a short fuse when some dude told me I need to "give" him more exterior sounds. ;-) I haven't been back to that site since yesterday and think I'll stay away from it. It's much nicer here. ;-) I will say though, that the regional threads there are much more active. Too bad they aren't here or at least the Mid-A forum. ;-)

We Mid-Atlantic folks gotta try to get together some how, some way soon! I'd love to meet other 370 owners from the area!

Lets move this convo down to the mid atlantic forum and turn that into our own active regional forum. More people will eventually join. And yes, we need to set something up....I'd love to hear both of your exhaust setups
