I think i am going to jump on this soon. I really wanted some cool looking Intakes, but these really wont look all that bad
You gotta think of mods and hp as a logarithmic function.

I am just reposting what other people have posted dyno numbers for-

I don't know the real amounts of HP gained first hand

Good choice, z1 is really good as well. Plus they have wicked customer service.

I would love to see a dyno comparison between filters+hoses vs stillen g3.

I had K&N filters installed and tuned with AAM Short Tail.

AAM Short Tail + stock filters + stock tune

to

AAM Short tail + K&N filters + UpRev = about +14-16 whp mid and +7-9 whp up top.

Also.. please do take into consideration that this may vary from car to car as some 370z run richer than others from factory.

Honestly.. hard to beat the price for what the filter does. I'd probably go with Stillen GenIIIs if I had the money.

I just installed the K & N Typhoon and while I can't say there is a huge power gain, there is definitely better throttle response and they sound great.
Should complement the FI exhaust once it comes.
I'm happy.

My mechanic friends were saying samething..told me to save up and get huge things like Stillen G3. He told me spending money on short ram or that HPS hose is pretty much waste of money, since the gain is so minimal, so I guess I should save up for the bigger things..

i have done my research on here today concerning the z1 tubes and several have stated they felt better throttle response and more power.

in this link, the guy only had the drop ins and made a difference once coupled with a CBE.
DYNO - NISMO CBE and K&N Dropins

i wouldnt put too much faith in your mechanic friends.i have had the drop ins for 2 weeks now and i like em.i will be ordering the tubes here pretty soon as im satisfied from the reviews concerning throttle response.only trying to help here boss.GL

If the g3's didn't require cutting and bumper removal to change the filters I would have them right now. Cold air intakes are a pain on this car, luckily the stock setup is pretty ******* good.

what sold me on the tubes is when one guy on here stated he never would have thought the throttle response would be greatly improved just by changing out the oem hoses for the tubes.now i cant wait to get them.

Default Hard To Decide

I like the blue color of the new tubes but there rather minimal, the K&Ns are probably are going to win out overall
