Disconnect the battery. You're supposed to do that for every mod. And hey, it just so happens that the installation instructions for each of these mods begins by telling you to disconnect your battery. And please don't post a thread freaking out about your windows not automatically rolling back up all the way after you re-connect the battery, lest you wish to mark yourself as one of the many yahoos who apparently lack the capacity to read their owner's manual (hint hint: the window reset procedure will need to be performed, and it's in the manual).
