What you will hear is between 1K and 2.5K a very deep (V8) tone and then it transitions to a more V6 sound from 2.5K to 4K and then it transitions yet again to a very exotic supercar sound which is sooooooo addictive. I'm about a month in since I got my non-resonated CF CBE and I actually wish it was louder lol. The loudness level has really tamed and I wished it has stayed the way it sounded when it was first installed so I'm surprised you're actually satisfied with the 18" resonator. Anyhow, the exhaust is great and so addicting that it leaves me wanting a deeper and louder tone every time I drive. Too bad I can't install non resonated TP here in California.
