Installed my non resonated hfc's and Carbon fiber CBE with 12 inch resonators on Monday and Tuesday. Yes, I took my time. Lol. Installation of the hfc's were a bit frustrating. Those bolts were a bitch to get loose. Had to use 1/2 drive stuff. Also had to remove the steering knuckle to get the big stuff on the bolt. The CBE went on perfectly and fit and finish is top notch. I also installed an R2C intake as well. Went for first real drive today and all I can say is that it sounds amazing. It is loud. I think it is louder inside the car than outside the car though. Not a bad thing. Nissan definitely needs to work on their sound deadening material. No rasp at all but there is definitely drone, especially at around 50 to 60 mph. Guess i will just have to go faster. The hiss is annoying but I can live with it. No hiss as long as your on the gas. I will be on the gas a lot. Great product Tony. Anyone thinking of purchasing this product it is well worth it.

Tony I'd like the old logo instead of letters as well for #871. I also PMd you about changing the spec. Thanks.

OK. I am confused.

I thought the old logo was the letters - "FAST INTENTIONS". and the new is just the stylized FI.

Great to hear that you have it installed and are happy. I want to touch on a few points to put the mind at ease.

1) The Drone will subside about 10% once everything is broken in. At about 250 miles or maybe less, you will see it quiet down somewhat.

2) The hiss is normal under deceleration. Thank Nissan and the VVEL for that! To some it is annoying and most are impartial. Give it time, it will grow on you and you will not even notice it after time. It is definitely more noticeable with aftermarket cats opposed to stock cats!

Thanks for the support and Happy Holidays.

Tony

Thank you! Hard work and some good breaks along the way helps out. Couldn't of made it this far without our customers support and loyalty.

Thanks, tony

I want to clear this up publicly because I only touched on it in a few pm's and emails.

The "FI Branding Logo" is currently not available. It was only sent out to a handful of customers because we ran out of our standard tips and all we had left were blanks. I decided to try something different since we were etching them by hand in house. It is a time consuming process so I did the branding logo to speed us up and get us by until our new shipment of tips came in.

That being said, I may offer it in the near future as an upgraded option, however at a price. It would be a $120+ upgrade to have custom etching done on your exhaust tips. What that means is we can etch just about anything you want in them (within reason). You would have to send the logo to us preferably in vector format and we can shrink it down and modify it to go on the tip. Keep in mind, there will be a design charge on top of the engraving fee.

Thanks, Tony

love my FI set-up, as well...i've found, as far as the drone goes, once you reach your desired peak mph, back off just a bit, and the drone disappears...

your pipes haven't broken in yet, too...that took me about 200 miles on the way to vegas from tony's...noticeible reduction in "noise" (loudness) after that...

if by "hiss" do you mean the "rattle-snake-rattle"...?

it's not my place to say this, butt, youse guyz are lucky tony's still puttin' out da product for the z...i was told a few months ago that he was considering abandoning our cars exhaust system...juan hopes that's not true...it's a smokin' pipe...

happy merry, tone, and gang...

plus, you can't hardly see the darn etching...which i think is kewl becoz tony wasn't a vain-e-ack having to extend the tips too far out from the bumper edge and saving our pants and legs from burning and preserving the aesthetics of the back end, at, i'm guessing, from free advertising...i think it's commendable...
