You'd want to lower it a little if you ever get boosted (extra heat from the RB swap chewed up my rear valence). Otherwise you're fine.

After installing the HFC, did anybody reinstall the brace that was holding the stock cats? I left mine off, but I don't know if it had another purpose other than supporting the stock cats.

The tip height looks good to go. The main thing is that they are both even and there is an air gap between the tips and the bottom of the bumper. The tips are dual wall resonated so they stay a little cooler. If they look real close meaning daylight in between is barely visible than lower them slightly. Like I said though in your case I think you are fine.

The brace from the stock cats will not be re used with our cats. You are good to go my friend. Enjoy it and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Thank you, Tony

Nice, thanks again. Great products...
I'm running out of excuses to jump in the car and drive

There's always an excuse to jump in the car and drive! I installed my Fast Intentions exhaust (SS, 18" resonators) exactly one week ago and I absolutely love it. Every time I start my car, the sound of the exhaust puts a big smile on my face. That deep bass tone is absolutely amazing. Well done F.I. - this exhaust was well worth the wait.

I don't know exactly what number they are on but I think you might have to wait til after the 4th. I'm 747 and (if im lucky) i think they might build mine sometime next week. Maybe they can crank yours out but I probably wouldn't bet on it.

Are you happy with the sound levels or do you wish you had gone slightly louder with the 12" Res.

When sitting inside the car, the 18" resonator option is actually a lot quieter than I was expecting. All of the youtube videos I watched beforehand made it sound a lot louder than it actually is. Maybe its because I drive a G37 and most of the youtube videos involve a 370Z (different levels of sound dampening material)?

There is a bit of drone around 2000-2500 RPM, but it's tolerable. If I had gone with 12" resonators, I'd be concerned about the drone becoming overbearing. Maybe someone with 12" resonators can chime in on that.
