I'm wondering if its the hfc or the takeda long tube intakes. I'm not so caught up on peak hp #s, but curious why my gains were so low. And as far as torque goes, I went from 234 to 246
First and foremost to properly gauge where you are the car needs to be tested in 5th gear. That is the 1:1 for both the 6MT & 7AT. If it is tested in 4th, the overall numbers will be down about 3-5%. I am not saying it was performed wrong but just double check.

That being said with the mods you have the numbers are low all depending on what type of dyno your car was tested on. Every dyno reads different and some are heart break dynos. Generally the Mustang and Dyno Dynamics dynos read the lowest. The Dynojet is the most commonly used in the industry and the numbers are pretty standard. The Dynapaks generally dyno high however are one of the best for tuning.

We have always performed our testing on a dynojet. On a 6MT we usually dyno right around 280 RWH & 235-240 RWT. Now without a tune and performed with many cars over the years, the average is right around 310-315 RWH & 255-258 RWT. This is all in STD mode on the dyno. These numbers I am giving you are for our CBE and HFC's with stock intakes.

All of this being said, once you put 150-200 miles on your car the ECU will have cycled through and adjusted for the new mods. You will feel a difference throughout the entire rpm band.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony
