He stated that I would most likely not have even noticed any issue if he sent it but he said but it did not pass his "test". He returned it promptly and got me a set of new ones. The set back was only about 6 days. I would much rather wait the 6 days then have someone try to slip something by me and have an issue later.. Appreciate the honesty and a job well done. Don't kid yourself a TT kit for this car done right is going to be a ~bare minimum~ of 10k but probably more. I'm honestly more inclined to save for a R35 than I am to do the forced induction thing with this car.

Don't get me wrong, it's my child but that little VVEL V6 isn't meant to take that kind of abuse.

The intake was already on the car so the 7whp came from the upgraded exhaust, hfcs and tune.

Don't forget the law of diminishing returns for bolt-on mods

Actually the cf does sound a bit different. Hard to describe, but definitely a slightly different tone. Exotic has been used to describe it before and it as accurate as any term. I love it.

I've seen this comment several times now and I honestly do not agree that there's any difference in sound at all. I have heard both setups up-close with HFCs installed and cannot tell between the two. The CF cans look great, don't get me wrong - I just don't hear a distinctive difference between the exhausts.

It hisses even with stock exhaust It's just not that audible. The less restriction the more pronounced the hiss. I can hear it hiss with stock cats and my fi cbe. Its not loud but it's there. Hfc or tp you will hear hiss from far away. No way around it.

my full non-res setup you can really hear the hiss but i dont mind it. sadly i get alot of people thinking it's boosted and thats the BOVs making the sound

I love it because anytime some eclipse or civic comes up next to me acting like a jackass, I just let it hiss for a bit, and they quickly slow down
