Think what happens to the O2 sensors that go bad after an install is. That they didn't remove the O2 sensors before trying to remove the cats. And with using an impact gun on the bolts that hold the cats on. The vibrations from the impact gun kills the O2 sensors. IMO I have over 4,000 miles on my LTH's. Never had a code or anything bad happened. I removed my O2 sensors first before trying to remove anything else.

If that were the case then why offer 2 styles? It's for looks. I'm still looking for a well lit picture of the CF version. It's the difference between ordering this unit or the HKS.

1) The CF option is not just for looks. It has a definite change it sound (for the better). 2) Having owned both, the quality of the FI kit is orders of magnitude higher. It's hard to describe until you see it in person. Not to say that the HKS isn't a good unit, but everything I have seen from FI is a work of art. Also, aesthetically I prefer the baffled look of the FI tips as opposed to the tin cans on the HKS. 3) Call up HKS if you need support/questions/etc, then call Tony. Enough Said. Lastly...support the community vendors! They certainly support us. |

If the HKS was cheaper, I would've order that instead of F.I. Don't take this the wrong way though. It was one of the first I heard and personally, I love the look of the cans on it plus the burnt tips. But F.I is just as good, if not better, and still looks and sounds amazing. If Tony gave the option of adding burnt tips, then for me, F.I would have no competition. Hint hint
