I am here to ease your mind. Your system is the second system set to ship early next week. We should make it right on the last day of your shipping window or worst case the following day.

Your patience is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

My eager anticipation aside, for the benefit of all your valuable and anxiously awaiting customers, when you or one of your team members have a moment will you please post an updated list Tony? The last one I could track down was about a month old. Much appreciated sir!

I will post a list update shortly.

Thank you all for your patience.

Tony

Give me a call today when you have a chance Tony! not sure if you got my voicemail

ratwals 05-31-2012 10:22 PM

Got my non-resonated CBE today and installed it as soon as I got home from work. The exhaust looks and sounds incredible. Installation was a breeze and once everything was tight the tips lined up perfectly. Worth every anxious day of waiting!

Tony, thank you again for your wonderful customer service and for creating such a great exhaust!

We are looking forward to seeing it installed on your car.

The lead time is 1-2 weeks from the day your order is placed.

Give me a ring if you have any questions or when you are ready to place an order.

Thanks, Tony

Tony! OMG this thing is awesome. I just got the CF CBE installed this morning and all I can say is friggin' WOW. The guys in the shop were very impressed by the kit and loved the sound of it. Met another forum member while I was there this morning (scope22) and they were telling me he had the 18 non resonated stainless steel ones and so after my install we got together out front of the shop and compared the sounds, you were right, I love the sound of the CF's better and they look really cool! A bunch of folks wound up gathering out front since we were comparing the sounds..;). You probably will get some more orders too as there were plenty of folks asking..;). LOVE the sound of them and had to turn off the AC and put the windows down for the ride home..hah!

Oh ya, pictures and will get vid once it has been dyno'd at FP.

To All,

You are like a family to us so I wanted to inform you of the following.

I apologize for my silence over the past 4 days.

One of my best friends and great friend to the guys at the shop was in a very bad car accident on Saturday afternoon. He fought to live but the injuries were too great and he passed away on Sunday around noon PST. I am directly involved with his family and the funeral arrangements. I will not be around much to answer questions here on the forum over the remaining part of this week. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can. All orders are still being built on track and will ship out as they are completed.

If anyone has any questions about their existing exhaust, pending order or new order that needs to be placed, please call Dan here at the shop directly. He is my business partner and is more than capable and qualified to help all of you out.

Any of you that are willing to pass this message on to other members that know us across the Nissan/Infiniti forums, please do so. It will be greatly appreciated.

Scott Anthony Lomonaco: A family member of Fast Intentions and my life, Rest In Peace buddy. We will always love you and be thinking about you everyday...

Thank you ALL,

Tony

Very sorry to here this too, Tony.

Can another member give me the approximate wait time for FI exhaust?
Is it weeks or months? Don't want to bug Tony with this right now.

Thanks!

Its a few weeks, but the more you hesitate to call the longer it will take to arrive at your door. Mine is schedule to arrive on monday, and after all the waiting and mental breakdowns i might of had, it was the best decicion i made. Tony is the BEST at what he does. :driving:

Very upsetting to hear that, my best regards to you and the family!

sparky 06-09-2012 09:29 PM

OK so I've read through almost half of the 500 posts on FI exhausts and got side tracked with searches twice. (so many great threads and funny **** on this forum, and MT Tam)

What is the consensus, no resonators, 12 inch, or 18 inch? I plan on keeping stock cats and as this is a DD minimal drone would be nice. Any comments from the current 5 million FI owners would be appreciated as I'm ordering Monday.

Thanks guys :tiphat:

Thanks guys :tiphat:

I'm personally going with the non resonated version. But it's not my daily driver. Stock cats I might go with 12" resonator if you want a more aggressive sound.

future370zzz 06-09-2012 11:06 PM

I too plan to retain the stock cats and told Tony that I want the least amount of drone in the car and he recommended the 18" resonators.

There is a good video on youtube, a middle eastern guy in a red 370 with stock cats and 18" resonators, automatic though.

sparky 06-10-2012 09:07 PM

Thanks for the input. After watching every utube vid I'm thinking 18" too.
Seems to sound nice through all RPM's with little drone.
Anything more and I think I'll be screwed if say the phone rings.
Gotta be able to conduct business while driving. :driving:

Actually, the non-res w/ stock cats is really not that bad & I can talk on the phone just fine, but there are moments of drone (that little airplane sound), but it's easily avoidable by gear selection. Well worth the trade for the sound

$.02 YMMV

sparky 06-10-2012 09:56 PM

Thanks Felix!
So I put the question out there and get 3 different answers. LOL.
Ya I know it's personal preference. Appreciate the responses, I will talk to Tony more about it and make a decision from there. Either way after reading almost all 500+ posts I'm stoked. This could be almost as bad as waiting for the car to come in. :rofl2:
